Inspiration and its source dimensions

My writing is based on my inspiration. The source of that inspiration is (an) unknown to me. In my view, its source dimension(s) might be related to (my) individual, collective or universal consciousness, which is also known as panpsychism (eg, Britannica, IEP, Stanford, Wiki). My diagram below is my interpretation of the link(s) between inspiration and its source...

Ageing

Ageing was never an issue for me. I’m still wondering why that is changing. My mother turned 90 last year. My father died in 1994 at 61. Last week, I turned 65. In my view, ageing is a blessing in disguise, even despite declining health. I suppose that (my) ageing is more visible to me than before. Probably, my eyes “opened” after falling from an electric bike...

De intenties van Rusland lijken tamelijk duidelijk: de heroprichting van de Sovjet-Unie (1922-1991). De Russische president ziet dat als een...

The flatness problem

A recent Quanta Magazine article mentions the “flatness problem”. That remark caught my immediate attention and the 2025 Quanta article reminds me of my 2022 blog: The Universe is flat? Back then, my view was: In my view, a flat Universe defies human logic. It’s like the (disproven) flat Earth hypothesis, and – to some extent – even feels like a...

Does everything have a beginning?

A recent Aeon article (ie, Will we ever know the origins of the Universe?) touched an unresolved thought of mine: must the Universe truly have a beginning?? The Aeon article has a clear answer: No. Not necessarily. “The Malament-Manchak theorem presents us with a sobering limit: our observations, no matter how extensive, may never be sufficient to determine...
