For about two weeks, there’s a topic in my list that is – finally – getting a meaning: blind spots. My future book has 6 chapters or topics but what if I’m missing one?? How would I know on a timely basis?
Fortunately, my mind still works like the auditor whom I used to be. It’s making continuous checks on the completeness of my chapters and/or topics (eg, analytical review, cradle to grave, plausibility).
Obviously, the problem with blind spots is that those are invisible (ie, “blind”).
Moreover, my blind spots might even be unknown unknowns: we do not even know what we are missing because we never knew that it existed.
Clairvoyants, like Nostradamus (1503-1566) and Edgar Cayce (1877-1945), are somewhat helpful in decreasing the number of unknown unknowns (eg, Atlantis, the still missing Hall of Records).
My “intellectual arc” uses the cradle to grave lifecycle. In my view, that was still not enough. Hence, I added the Master Plan a.k.a. blueprint. Most likely, my blind spots are in that blueprint (eg, multiverse, the Wheel of Life).
Another blind spot is space travel. I genuinely doubt that humans are alone in the Universe (eg, Wiki’s long and ancient List of reported UFO sightings).
What would loneliness in the Universe do to us??
