Love, Knowledge & Power vs Doubt Fear Hope & Love

Recently, I wondered why Doubt, Fear, Hope & Love is not a triangle, contrary to most of my concepts. The overlap between Love, Knowledge & Power and Doubt, Fear, Hope & Love makes my question even more relevant.

See the overlap in my latest diagram (below).

My preliminary thought is that my question is indeed valid. The Love in Doubt, Fear, Hope & Love might just be a linking pin towards Love, Knowledge & Power.

Perhaps, Love has these three dimensions:

  • Doubt: is my Knowledge true (eg, complete, correct, in time) ?
  • Fear: could I be losing my Power?
  • Hope: Hope is our superpower (FT).

The (ancient) Greek have several words for Love, like amongst others:

  • agape: divine love
  • eros: romantic love
  • philia: love for friends (a.k.a. friendship)
  • philautia: self-love
  • storge: love between parents and children
  • xenia: love for guests / strangers (a.k.a. hospitality)

Clearly, those three dimensions (ie, Doubt, Fear, Hope) are relevant in all those various kinds of Love.

Perhaps, my 2020 diagram needs an update, following the above.

My 2020 blog pictures the various triangles that I’m using in my blogs.

I’m still considering if the new triangle (ie, Doubt, Fear & Hope) should be incorporated in my 2020 diagram.

“Who knows most, doubts most; entertaining hope means recognizing fear.”

The power of love
A force from above
Cleaning my soul
Flame on, burn desire
Love with tongues of fire
Purge the soul
Make love your goal
