My recent blog, Light: from simple to complex consciousness, included an important question:
- what other functions might Light have ⁉️
Hence, I prepared a new diagram following my usual dimensions: (un)known (un)knowns. I added a new additional dimension: input-output. My diagram below raises – at least – some major questions:
- if and when Light is output then what-where-who is its source?
- And how, when and why?
Because everything follows Why.
Perhaps, there’s a link with the white light as reported by people having had a Near-Death Experience (NDE):
White light near-death experiences (NDEs) are intense, often peaceful visions reported by 10-20% of cardiac arrest survivors, typically involving moving through a tunnel toward a brilliant, warm light. Scientific evidence suggests these are caused by sudden spikes in brain activity (gamma waves) and reduced oxygen levels (anoxia) during the dying process, triggering hallucinations.
A part of the quote below fits my beliefs in a universal deity, whom I name YHW: “But if one allows the Divine White Light to manifest and pour through the being, then one comes to know it and get all its results.”
That part of the quote suggests a divine input / source of Light, to which I agree.
To be very clear: I am a believer but I’m not religious – in a contemporary context. My interest is with the Sumerian civilization (c.250,000 years ago until c.1900 BC).
