Does freedom result in loneliness and solitude?

Recent events have resulted in this topic: does freedom in our deeds, word & intentions result in loneliness and/or solitude? I’m inclined to answer: Yes. In my view, any commitment (eg, time, space) will cause a lack of freedom (eg, job, relationship, vacation). Hence, a No would then be logical.

In my view, the notion of freedom can only exist in our mind – and possibly also our soul (eg, soul travelling while sleeping and after our demise). Our bodies have (too) many restrictions (eg, ageing, capabilities, injuries, talents, training).

Recently, I have “regained” my freedom albeit without my intention. It was her decision to break-up, although I agreed after verifying her decision. Our breakup has resulted in a mix of relief as well as some disappointment. My relief is winning though. Hence, our mutual breakup is final.

Notwithstanding the above, our freedom requires us in making a choice between loneliness and solitude.

Solitude has always been my priority in life.
