Is a Universal design likely?

My question above just occurred to me. It relates to the Blueprint of Life, a blog topic since 2015. On planet Earth, Life suggests a blueprint (eg, arms, ears, eyes, head, legs, mouth, nose, spine). Recent news suggests the possible existence of past microbial life on Mars (eg, BBC, Guardian, NASA, Reuters).

Nevertheless, Matter (eg, moons, planets, suns), and Energy (eg, electricity & lightning, gravity, heat, water), both suggest a Universal design.

Moreover, Light also represents a common universal design feature. In my view, Light is (also) related to universal consciousness (eg, Wiki) a.k.a. panpsychism (eg, Wiki).

Obviously, the notion of a Universal design raises further questions, like what, when, who and why. Latter question is most important because everything follows Why.

There are two theories that oppose a (my) Universal design notion:

  • Chaos theory,
  • Evolution theory.

A Universal design would seem to counter the Chaos theory, which is (probably) popular amongst people without faith and/or without believing in a Religion.

Chaos theory is an interdisciplinary area of scientific study and branch of mathematics. It focuses on underlying patterns and deterministic laws of dynamical systems that are highly sensitive to initial conditions. These were once thought to have completely random states of disorder and irregularities.”

Moreover, extreme believers in (biblical) Evolution will question the age of Earth, our Solar System, and the age of the universe.

In my view, planets throughout the Universe – including ours – are evolutionary lab experiments (#1). Please also see my related blogs, being part 2, part 3 and part 4 in 2019, and part 5 in 2025.

The Why of a Universal design may relate to standardization of its components (eg, moons, planets, Suns), which is needed in increasing complexity. Else, chaos would (ultimately) take over.

Please also see my related 2024 blog: The complexity bias (13): singularity as the ultimate goal?

The Why of increasing complexity – and an increasing universe – are still BIG questions for me. Possibly, the answer relates to the increasing storage of cumulative data-info that needs an expanding universe for storage of its (dark / invisible ?) “matter”.

Mr. Blue Sky
Please tell us why
You had to hide away for so long? (So long)
Where did we go wrong?
