In March 2017, I started writing on The Trump-Bannon Revolution: Disruption, Chaos & Destruction. Five more parts followed in this blog series. In 2018, it ended with Trump’s revolution of disruption, chaos and destruction (6).
I suppose the 2025 Trump Administration will continue with its disruption, chaos and destruction by his most controversial (nominated) Secretaries (eg, the Hill). Probably, Trump will be preoccupied with his revenge & retaliation.
“After he was released from prison and returned to his “War Room” podcast, Steve Bannon had a decidedly vengeful tone. The former White House chief strategist made it clear that for the MAGA movement, taking revenge against those who had crossed President-elect Donald Trump would be a top priority.”

According to Vanity Fair magazine, Trump has an Extremely Long List of Second-Term Revenge Targets: “Everyone from Democratic lawmakers to retired generals and major news networks appear to be in the crosshairs.”
The fundamental problem with having too many enemies is this saying:
“Divide and rule, the politician cries; Unite and lead, is watchword of the wise.”
A quote by German polymath Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (1749-1832)
The (perceived) Trump threat is already accelerating events in China, Europe, Iran, Russia and Ukraine. Perhaps, that development should be regarded as good rather than as bad news (eg, Lowy Institute-2024).
Perhaps, I should give the 2025 Trump Administration the benefit of my doubt. Unfortunately, I’m pretty sure that I will regret this in due course.
You’re So Vain (1972) by Carly Simon
artist, Billboard, lyrics, video, Wiki-artist, Wiki-song
[Chorus]
You’re so vain
You probably think this song is about you
You’re so vain (you’re so vain)
I’ll bet you think this song is about you
Don’t you? Don’t you?
