Most articles claim that Donald Trump has won following the recent SCOTUS verdict about (near) absolute immunity for (former) US presidents. That would only be true if Joe Biden would not use this verdict to his advantage. SCOTUS has also given Joe Biden a near absolute immunity.
Interestingly, a dissent SCOTUS opinion may also be read as a very implicit advice to Joe Biden:
“In an unsparing dissent, Justice Sonia Sotomayor said the Supreme Court allowed a president to become a “king above the law” in its ruling that limited the scope of criminal charges against former President Donald Trump for his role in the Jan. 6, 2021 riot at the U.S. Capitol and efforts to overturn the election.”

Which actions should Joe Biden now consider?? In my view, these actions:
- declare war against Russia, following its 2022 invasion into Ukraine;
- bypass US Congress following that declaration of war;
- dissolve US Senate;
- dissolve the Republican party;
- dissolve the US Constitution of 1789;
- dissolve the Electoral College;
- implement a new US Constitution based upon representative democracy;
- most important of all: do not change (eg, abolish, expand or shrink) SCOTUS, but retain them given the stupidity of its majority.
Perhaps, Joe Biden is too chicken to act on my suggestions.
The SCOTUS verdict is indeed a threat to US democracy but it also enables Joe Biden to stop that threat.
