Sta Hungry Stay Foolish

Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish.

Life is a roundabout (2)

I still remember the day when I noticed a strange and unfamiliar structure ahead of me: my first roundabout. I was confused and didn’t know what to do. It had never appeared during my driving lessons. I followed the cars in front of me, and stayed one or two full laps on it. Finally, I dared to exit.

In the roundabout of Life, I used a first exit towards Knowledge, and later a second exit towards Power.

The exit towards Love is still a mystery to me. I may know the reason but not the solution.

Nowadays, I’m back at the exit where I once started: Knowledge. Today, that exit is about learning and teaching.

My mission in life is the reason why I am soldiering on in life. Moreover, I learned from my 2013 lesson on the dark side of Life. I trust in the triangle of Faith, Hope & Love. Also see 1 Corinthians 13-13: “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”

The advantage of seeing life as a roundabout is that new exits will keep appearing. Don’t forget the saying: even a broken clock is right twice a day. Someday, I will find my desired exit to Love. Perhaps, life will allow me to combine two out of three. Power is the least important one to me.

“Everything happens when it needs to happen; everyone is always where they need to be. You will never miss out on what is meant for you, even if it has to come to you in a roundabout way.”
