Apparently, the American born (Hispanic) federal judge on the Trump University court case is “a Mexican, of Mexican heritage” and thus unfit to rule on this matter (eg, conflict of interest with Drumpf’s Great Mexican Wall). Similar reasoning would identify Donald Drumpf as “a German, of German heritage” and thus clearly not eligible to run for American President.
Donald Drumpf has a problem with “birther” issues, including his own. In his opinion, Barack Hussein Obama is still a Muslim, and born in Africa. The New Yorker: “Until 1990, including in his 1987 best-seller, “The Art of the Deal,” Trump claimed to be Swedish, not German. This relatively transparent family fiction—Trump’s German grandmother lived across the street from the family until her death, in the sixties—was first propagated by Trump’s father, Fred, due to anti-German sentiment in the U.S.”.
The opportunistic approach of the Drumpf Family regarding the truth, puts a recent event in a different context. Last Friday, a senior adviser to the Trump presidential campaign had the audacity to say: “You couldn’t get the truth from Hillary Clinton if you waterboarded her” (CNN). Perhaps it’s just reverse psychology and projection, considering the increasing number of lies his Boss is telling (PolitiFact). Trump himself has said he would “bring back waterboarding and a hell of a lot worse” if elected president as a means to acquire intelligence from terror suspects (Politico).
These “birther” and racial issues still dominate Donald Drumpf’s agenda. Facts don’t matter, only (his) opinions count. However, his relentless focus on foreign heritage only applies to non-whites. Hillary Clinton still hasn’t been accused of being English, and having an English heritage.
If anything, America is quite a successful melting pot of many heritages. Many countries could only wish that foreigners would act, believe, feel and think along national lines. Integration after immigration is quite unique in USA. So, why would someone like Donald Drumpf want to turn America into a copy of pre-Mandela’s South Africa “for Whites only”??
Perhaps Donald Drumpf doesn’t really know what racism is. On 4 June 2016, CNN anchor Jake Tapper asked Donald Trump if his attack on the Hispanic US judge is of a racist nature. After 23 follow up questions, Trump finally answered this question. TAPPER: “If you are saying he cannot do his job because of his race, is that not the definition of racism?” TRUMP: “No, I don’t think so at all”. (eg, CNN, WP). More likely, it’s just feigned ignorance, similar to his denial of not knowing David Duke, former Ku Klux Klan grand wizard (eg, CNN).
Sometimes, Donald Drumpf makes a lot of sense. Unfortunately, such moments get more and more rare. Increasingly, Donald Drumpf has become an utter disgrace to America and everything America used to stand for. America is losing its dignity until 8 November 2016 and possibly even afterwards. Do not expect mercy or sympathy when presidential candidate Donald Drumpf is the same person as President Donald Drumpf: a hater of anything but a wealthy WASP male.
